Kate Middleton upped her glam quotient as she embraced the season’s hottest hair trend as she opened Hampton Court’s Magic Garden on Wednesday. She gave royal fans all over the world some major hair inspiration for spring in a half-up half-down “do,” but with a twist. This is not the first time the Duchess of Cambridge has sported the latest hair trend of a braided and twisted “do.”
Kate showed off her beauty credentials in a laidback style that added a touch of glamour to her look. Her long brunette tresses were left loose and kept in a center parted. A section of her hair from both the sides in front were twisted and then pinned in the back and styled into an eye-catching “do.”
The rest of her locks were styled into cascading, voluminous curls. The 34-year-old completed her beauty look with subtle make-up save for a hint of eyeshadow. The stylish royal opted for a recycled Michael Kors coat which she paired with nude high heels and carried a small clutch bag. Kate previously wore the coat during her tour of Australia with Prince William and son Prince George in 2014.
Take a closer look at Kate's hair:
Kate gave some major spring vibes and showed off the season’s major beauty trend — her long brunette tresses styled into a low chignon in a braided and plaited do during a lunch meeting with the Indian prime minister Narendra Modi at Hyderabad House in New Delhi in April 12. Kate and William went on a royal tour of India and Bhutan in April. She opted for a jade green lace Alice Temperley dress for the meeting and managed to stay cool in the hot weather.
The braided “do” seemed to have become a hit with Kate, who was seen flaunting the same hairstyle when she paid a visit to Pan Bari Village in Northeastern state of Assam in India on April 13. Kate’s trusted hairstylist Amanda Cook Tucker is the woman behind her glamourous “dos.” She even accompanied the royal during the visit to India and Bhutan.
